Rocio and her family were facing homelessness and she knew that something had to change. She arrived at TWC ready to create goals to secure housing and that she did. One of those goals she accomplished was working on her budgeting skills to lower her monthly expenses to save more money. Since joining the program, she was also connected to mental health, education and employment services which greatly helped her and her family. But what Rocio considers to be her biggest accomplishment was being able to secure a job that was not only closer to her children’s school, but also paid more money than her previous job.
Ultimately, she was able to receive an Emergency Housing Voucher which allowed for her and her family to move into a spacious two-bedroom apartment.
Rocio is thankful for TWC and all that they did for her and her family.
