Meet Alexander and William Pan, two young men who have reached out to the young children in our Parent Enrichment Program. For several years now, the Pan brothers and the parents have supported our San Gabriel Valley-based program with back-to-school and holiday food drives.
In late summer, Alexander and William organized their back-to-school backpack drive, collecting 120 backpacks and donating the school supplies to go along with them. The boys and their parents even volunteered to help our staff put them all together in time for our students to pick them up.
In December 2021, these devoted young men organized a holiday drive and ensured that more than 60 families served by The Whole Child received gift cards for the season.
Showcasing the true spirit of giving, the Pans repeatedly thanked The Whole Child for “the opportunity to give back to the community” and they are especially excited to work with us for more drives in the future. We are truly grateful to the Pan family for all they do to support our mission and our families!
