Congratulations to The Whole Child’s Multidisciplinary Assessment Team (MAT) on their recent recognition from the Department of Mental Health! Cynthia Z. Marinero, Psy.D., MAT Psychologist/Birth to Five Coordinator from DMH stopped by our offices to present our team with an award for their outstanding service to our clients in 2021-22.
The Multidisciplinary Assessment Team (MAT) was awarded for outstanding service with the age 0-5 population. Our MAT team completes assessments for children who have been detained by DCFS, collaborating actively with the family, DCFS, and MAT DMH to ensure that these children have their needs met. Manuel Delgado, LMFT, and Noelia Castellanos, LMFT, are dedicated MAT assessors that are willing to drive to any service planning area in LA County and have gone as far Lancaster and Palmdale to ensure clients received supreme service.
