Our good and long-time friends at Whittier Area Community Church made April a wonderful month for the children and families we serve at The Whole Child! First, WACC members kindly donated 70 Easter baskets filled with candy and toys to bring holiday joy to the children at our Safe Families Interim Housing and our Housing Program.
Then, WACC’s generously welcomed TWC families to participate in “The Rack at WACC” on April 20, where they provided our families with free clothing for both children and parents. They created a space with social distancing and mask guidelines in place so our families could enjoy their evening of “shopping” safely
Both contributions made it possible for our families, who we help to avoid or transition from homelessness, to create happy and healthy environments where their children thrive.
Our sincerest gratitude goes out to the WACC staff, volunteers, and congregation for their continued generosity and support in such a great event benefitting families in need.
