Meet Magali – a single mother to her daughter and caretaker for her mother.
Magali joined The Whole Child in April 2022 and entered our program through the Fire Department of Montebello. While in our housing program, Magali continued to work full time at her job while searching for other employment opportunities. She worked closely each day with her Case Manager searching for housing leads while remaining active in the housing program. Magali even successfully enrolled her daughter in school and increased her income.
In June 2022, Magali and her family move into permanent housing. The family now has a place to call home.
