Bibian’s Housing Success Story

| Events, Featured

Bibian is a healthcare worker and single mother of two children who was renting a room before being asked to leave. She had nowhere to go and fell into homelessness and found herself couch surfing, not having a stable place to live.

She and her children then came to The Whole Child in hopes of finding a home. While working with our team on her search, she not only maintained her employment but was able to accomplish all of her set housing goals. It wasn’t too long after that Bibian and her children moved into an apartment in Huntington Park.

Jasmine Cervantes, her Housing Navigator, says that “Bibian never considered the possibility of failure. She stayed persistent and that’s how she obtained permanent housing.”

We are so proud of Bibian and admire her dedication to find permanent housing for her and her family.
